Tappetino di atterraggio americano M8A1Per costruire rapidamente piste temporanee, i servizi di ingegneria statunitensi hanno costruito varie opzioni per l'aerodromo. Le piastre d'acciaio aeroportuali erano M8A1 utilizzate durante la guerra del Vietnam nella seconda metà degli anni '60 e all'inizio degli anni '70 e furono installate da unità di ingegneria dell'esercito americano. Le piastre erano collegate tra loro sfalsate o in fila e consentivano di costruire piccoli siti separati o aeroporti di dimensioni impressionanti. Molto spesso, tali rivestimenti venivano utilizzati nell'aviazione militare. Sui siti creati in questo modo potrebbero essere basati diversi aerei, ad esempio gli elicotteri da combattimento AN-1Q Cobra, gli aerei da attacco leggero e gli aerei d'osservazione OV-10A Bronco o O-2 Skymaster. Anche su tali siti operavano i famosi B-26K Counter Invader.

Matho Models Plants & Weeds E 1:35

Contains 1 photo-etch sheet, etched on an ultra-thin (0,10mm) sheet of brass for realistic leave-thickness. The very fine etch-work (including leave veins) will result in some very realistic looking plants. Sheet size is 4,7 x 8 cm (1,85" x 3,15"). How to use and paint Leave the plants in the fret while painting and weathering.  First airbrush a few layers of (acrylic) primer. Let it dry for at least 24 hours between each coat. After that you can continue with your regular (acrylic or enamel) colors and weathering products. Seal with a few coats of varnish. Let the varnish dry for at least 24 hours so it is hard enough to protect your paint-work during the next steps. Always be very gentle in the following steps when handling the plants to prevent the paint from scratching. Place the fret on a hard (for example wood or glass) surface, and cut out the plants from the fret with a fresh knife.  Use a micro file to clean up any residue of the fret. If cut well however, you will not need to use a file on straight edges. Now use 2 tweezers to turn the leaves and branches into a natural position. Use 1 tweezers to hold the plants, the other to shape the leaves and branches. Don't forget to bend the leaves themselves as well for the most realistic appearance. Use a tweezers (be very gentle to avoid paint scratches!) to glue them to place.  Some parts will now need some extra painting to restore the damaging caused when cutting from the fret or when handling afterwards. Use a round brush with very fine tip with your main color to touch up the parts where you can still see the PE brass color shining through.   Contiene 1 foglio di fotoincisione, inciso su un foglio di ottone ultrasottile (0,10 mm) per uno spessore realistico delle foglie. Se tagliato bene, tuttavia, non sarà necessario utilizzare una lima sui bordi dritti.Ora usa 2 pinzette per trasformare le foglie e i rami in una posizione naturale. Usa 1 pinzetta per tenere le piante, l'altra per modellare foglie e rami. Non dimenticare di piegare anche le foglie stesse per ottenere un aspetto più realistico.Usa una pinzetta (sii molto gentile per evitare graffi sulla vernice!) per incollarli in posizione.Alcune parti avranno ora bisogno di una verniciatura aggiuntiva per ripristinare i danni causati durante il taglio dalla greca o durante la manipolazione successiva. Utilizza un pennello tondo con punta molto fine del tuo colore principale per ritoccare le parti in cui si vede ancora trasparire il colore ottone PE.

Matho Models Mushrooms 1:35

Contains 12 unpainted mushrooms (6 different types, 2 of each) + 4 fungi-pieces, printed in very high detail UV cured acrylic plastic. Tree-stump not included. How to work with 3D printed parts? Be carefull when manipulating 3D printed parts, they can be brittle! Firstly rinse in Acetone to wash off any excess waxy material. The waxy material is a support material used during 3D printing process. It is very liquid, oil-like and washes off very easily. After that you can start sanding where needed. The 3D printing process builds up a product in micro-layers. Those layers sometimes remain slightly visible in some areas (especially under magnification), they can be sanded out with a medium sandpaper (like 600 grit), followed by a fine sandpaper (like 1000 grit). Again, the material is not that hard, so it sands very easy. Rinse in Acetone again to wash of any dust. Some 3D printed models are hollow and open at the bottom that is normally not displayed. Should you do want to display the bottom, simply fill the part with putty and sand. Now it is ready to prime and paint. Tip for sanding very small and difficult areas Cut a small strip of sandpaper 1 - 2 mm wide, fold it and grab it with a tweezers (not the one with a pointy tip, but the one with a flat 1 - 2mm broad tip). Hold it in such a way that the fold is sticking out for only a tiny fraction (make sure it is the fold that is sticking out, and not the loose ends of the strip). Keep holding the tweezers like that and move over the surface you want to sand. When the sandpaper is clogged, make a new fold in an area of the strip that has not been used before, and continue like before.    Contiene 12 funghi non verniciati (6 tipi diversi, 2 di ciascuno) + 4 pezzi di funghi, stampati in plastica acrilica con trattamento UV ad altissimo dettaglio.Ceppo d'albero non incluso.Come lavorare con parti stampate in 3D?Fai attenzione quando maneggi le parti stampate in 3D, possono essere fragili!Innanzitutto risciacquare con acetone per eliminare qualsiasi materiale ceroso in eccesso. Il materiale ceroso è un materiale di supporto utilizzato durante il processo di stampa 3D. È molto liquido, oleoso e si lava via molto facilmente.Successivamente puoi iniziare a levigare dove necessario. Il processo di stampa 3D costruisce un prodotto in microstrati. Questi strati a volte rimangono leggermente visibili in alcune aree (soprattutto sotto ingrandimento), possono essere levigati con una carta vetrata media (come grana 600), seguita da una carta vetrata fine (come grana 1000). Ancora una volta, il materiale non è così duro, quindi si carteggia molto facilmente. Sciacquare nuovamente con acetone per eliminare la polvere.Alcuni modelli stampati in 3D sono cavi e aperti nella parte inferiore che normalmente non viene visualizzata. Se vuoi visualizzare il fondo, riempi semplicemente la parte con mastice e sabbia.Ora è pronto per l'adescamento e la verniciatura.Punta per levigare aree molto piccole e difficiliTaglia una piccola striscia di carta vetrata larga 1 - 2 mm, piegala e afferrala con una pinzetta (non quella con la punta appuntita, ma quella con la punta piatta larga 1 - 2 mm). Tienilo in modo tale che la piega sporga solo per una piccola frazione (assicurati che sia la piega a sporgere e non le estremità libere della striscia). Continua a tenere le pinzette in questo modo e spostati sulla superficie che vuoi carteggiare. Quando la carta vetrata è intasata, fare una nuova piega in una zona della striscia che non è stata utilizzata prima e continuare come prima.
